The specialist bots add exactly the kind of variety our game nights needed, especially with how each one maneuvers past obstacles in ways the base characters can't. Having those extra skill sets on the board makes every mission feel more tactical instead of samey.
Wasn't sure the specialist bots would feel different enough from the base crew, but each one has a distinct skill set that actually changes how you plan a run. The 404th really comes into its own when a job throws unforeseen obstacles at you. Best expansion I've picked up for this game.
The specialist bots add a nice layer of variety to the base game, and the extra maneuver options really open up the puzzle. Only complaint is the box insert doesn't have a slot for the new tokens, so they rattle around loose.
