The baddies in this expansion hit way harder than the base game ones, and my Gearlocs have lost more than a few runs because of it. Forty new cave encounters is a lot of content for the price, and each one feels distinct instead of recycled.
The cave encounters add so much tension to the tunnels under The Break, especially when a baddie ambush forces you to rethink your whole route. We've played the base game a dozen times and this still made it feel new.
The new baddies in this expansion hit way harder than the base game ones, and my group got wiped twice in the first cave. Forty encounters is a lot of content for the price, and each one feels distinct instead of recycled. If you already love the core game, this is an easy add.
