Everyone’s playing hide-and-seek in the neighborhood!

The seeker will use ten special pieces to cover the players one by one. Each piece's circular window goes on the map where it shows, but you have to figure out how to rotate and flip it. Eventually you'll cover every player except one. That player is the hide-and-seek champion!

Neighborhood Hide & Seek is a solo game that plays in roughly 10 minutes. It’s appropriate for players as young as 6 and as old as 99! The challenges vary in difficulty, but once a player selects a map, they’ll arrange the geometric tiles until they cover a player with the right orientation. Once all tiles have been placed, there will be one hide-and-seek person left uncovered on the map. That’s the winner!

This is part of the Independent Play collection, and players can challenge themselves with puzzles ranging for 1-star to 4-stars.

My kids actually ask to play this instead of screen time, which says a lot. The ten pieces with circular windows turn each round into a real puzzle since you have to figure out where the seeker's covering the map. Took us one game to get the rules, and now it's a weekly thing.

The circular window pieces make it so easy for my 5-year-old to figure out where to place each cover, which keeps her from getting frustrated. We've played four rounds tonight and she still won't let me put it away.

The ten windowed pieces make this so much easier to teach than other hidden-movement games I've tried. My niece figured out the covering mechanic in one round and immediately wanted to play again. Solid little deduction game for mixed-age groups.
