The new Tyrant encounters in this expansion are way harder than the base game, and I mean that in the best way. Lost my first two attempts before finally scraping a win, which is exactly the kind of challenge I wanted.

The new Tyrant fights are genuinely harder, which is what I wanted, though it does make solo runs a lot longer. The extra encounter variety keeps the campaign from feeling stale after a few plays. Just wish the box had better storage for the added pieces.

The new Tyrant fights are noticeably tougher than the base game, which is exactly what I wanted after beating the core bosses a dozen times. Only gripe is that some of the new encounter cards feel a bit samey after a few plays. Still, it's a solid pickup if you've worn out the original box.
