The new baddies add so much variety to the encounter deck that our usual strategies stopped working, which is exactly what I wanted. Forty days of content sounds like a lot but we've already burned through a dozen scenarios.
Three new tyrant fights in one box felt like a lot for the price, and the extra baddie variety really changes how the encounter deck plays out. Lost twice to the same tyrant before figuring out the new mechanics, which is exactly the kind of punishment I wanted.
Added these baddies to our campaign last weekend and the new encounters completely changed how we plan our turns. The variety of tyrant matchups keeps every session feeling fresh, even after dozens of plays. Easily the best expansion I've picked up for this game.
