Dragons of Etchinstone: Felines of Fetchin' Bone

Switched to the feline deck after a few rounds and the bone-stealing mechanic completely flips how you defend the Yard. The art on the elder cards is gorgeous and the cat abilities feel genuinely different from the dog side.

I played the dog side first and thought I had it figured out, but the cats completely flipped my strategy — the elder mechanic forces you to protect bones you'd normally ignore. Two-player games have been way more tense than I expected, with the yard feeling genuinely too small for both factions.

The cat faction adds a genuinely different puzzle to the base game, and my group lost a solid hour arguing over whether to defend the bones or raid the yard. The elder dog cards are the highlight for me, since their abilities force you to commit before you see what your neighbor is playing.
