The texture makes picking up dice way easier than rolling straight on my wooden table, and it doesn't slide around during a long solo session. Fits the full gearloc layout perfectly.
The mat covers my whole solo setup so the dice and chips finally stay put on my wobbly kitchen table. It's thick enough that the cards don't slide around anymore, which makes long solo runs way less fiddly.
I was a little skeptical about needing a playmat, but this one really keeps my dice organized and the table clean. The grip is perfect—no sliding around during tense solo rounds.
