Alexander ★★★★★

The Ankarian factions finally feel like real contenders this time around, and the resistance fighter units add a scrappy asymmetric playstyle I didn't know I wanted. Setup still takes a bit, but once the Joining War gets rolling the tension over Source never lets up.

Richard ★★★★★

The Source resource mechanics add a layer of tension I didn't expect, especially once the Joining War ramps up and every isle feels contested. My group finished the new scenarios in one weekend and immediately wanted to replay them.

Jacob ★★★★★

The new hero units finally give the resistance faction the punch it needed, and the Source control mechanics keep every match tense. This expansion adds exactly the right amount of depth without overcomplicating things.
